Advanced Filter
From basic excel we are aware of applying filters. but when we handle large records or big size of excel files then after each filter excel takes more time to process to show filtered data at such times advanced filter is useful as only once we have to instruct excel to filter and instead of copying records from table we can get relevant records automatically where we want through advanced filter
place selection on table go to data ribbon under sort & filter section select advanced and a pop will come up like shown in below pic
In this example , I want to get records of all files processed by Jenifer of India only .
select copy to another location .
List range mean area of table or record from which we want to retrieve records or data .
Criteria range mean which filter we want to apply or simply common variable of records which we want. I have selected A18:A19 where i have given my criteria
then select copy to reference where we want our data .
