Attendance
purpose of Attendance Vouchers is to record present,absent days ,overtime hours ,units produced if salary is incentive based .
while passing this vouchers one needs to select employee then Attendance / production type (i.e present ,absent , overtime,units etc) then value of respective attendance (i.e no of units of respective attendance/production type)
Payroll
Payroll Voucher is passed to record payment of salary to employees based on attendance . it is a payment voucher of employee salary. To pass Payroll voucher 1st select bank account then employee name then pay head then amount to pay under respective pay head in this manner other pay head and salary of other employees can be paid through payroll or you can use Payroll autofill
How to use Payroll Autofill
As we have already passed attendance voucher (essential condition to use payroll auto fill ) and have defined salary structure of employee (per day/per month / per unit) system has already captured required data . so once open payroll voucher press Alt +A then payroll autofill window will appear like this :
then select data as required or shown in above pic press enter & all values are filled according to salary defined and Attendance voucher passed note= both date of payroll voucher and attendance voucher must be of same month otherwise tally will not capture values u want .
